Omri Leshnick and Yonatan Hayon
Yoel Artzieli is my graduation film from Bezalel academy for Arts and Design. It was made by Yonatan Hayon and myself in 2023. It is a mixed media of stop-motion scenery and puppetry with live action. The eyes of the puppet were filmed in advance and later placed in post-production.
It is a story of loneliness and solitude, grief and obsession. Yoel is in an endless loop, trying to write a letter to his war fallen son.

RUSTY DIAMONDS
Omri Leshnick and Daniel Gyorko Vitez
Rusty Diamonds was my third year film that I have made with Daniel Gyorko Virtes. It is a homage to Joan Baezs' song "Diamonds and Rust". Its is a story of nostalgia and breakup.
Bob Dylan calls Joan Baez on an old pay phone in the middle of the desert. While their conversation unfolds Dylan gets lost in his nostalgic fantasies only to be confronted with the truth of Baezs' side of the story.
